DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY

The goal of our Discipleship ministry is to teach people how to have a growing, healthy, authentic relationship with Jesus the Christ.  We believe there are seven marks or characteristics that a disciple should exhibit.

A Christ follower should be:

In love with God - a Worshipper

In a ministry - a Server

In a small group - In Community/A Relater

Investors in the Kingdom - a Giver

Informed through Bible study - a Learner

In conversation with God - a Prayer

On mission with God - a Reproducer

EVANGELISM MINISTRY

It is a priority for us to obey Jesus Christ by making Him known both locally and internationally.  We attempt to do this through:

A One 8 (Acts 1:8) Outreach

- Letters, phone calls, & personal visits

- Contact visitors, new & potential members

- Meet @ 6:25 pm on Tuesdays in the Island Room

- Commit to 1 Tuesday per month

Servanthood Evangelism - showing the love of Jesus in practical ways

- Handing out free Cokes on the street corner

- Taking donuts & juice to businesses on Saturday

- Being generous tippers

Personal Evangelism Class

- 4 week class

- Wednesday nights

- Part of the Disciple Life Triangle

Church-Wide Mission Trips

- Guatemala

- China

- South Africa

- Europe

STUDENT MINISTRY

Discipling and developing teenagers to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through intimacy with Christ, intentional relationships, Biblical instruction and ministry involvement.

* Wednesday Night Firehouse

- Jr. High 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m.

- Sr. High 7:00 p.m. till 8:40 p.m.

* Sunday School - Grades 7th thru 12th, 9:00 a.m. till 10:15 a.m.

* Firehouse Events - Mission camps, Spring Break Retreat, Winter Ski Retreat, Summer Events, Hoedown, Senior Trip

* Aftershock Senior and College Ministry - meets Sunday nights from 7:00 - 8:30 pm

HOUSE OF HOPE FOOD MINISTRY

Sharing the love of Christ and meeting the needs of Brevard County residents through weekly food distribution.

Distribution Schedule:

Every Monday @ 9:00 am.
