Our Global Mission Commitment...
There are two primary means of giving to global missions at First Baptist. The first opportunity is through your annual church budget giving. With every tithe offering you give, global mission is being supported. The other primary means is through your First Initiative giving. As we apporoached the First Initiative campaign, we knew it was going to require a God-led sacrifice from every member to reach this God-sized vision. When entering this initiative, we were confident the Lord was not calling us to go backwards in our global mission commitment. During our most recent years, we have reached a $150,000 mission giving goal. As a statement of faith, we are committed for the next two years to give at least $150,000 from First Initiative giving. If our giving to the First Initiative exceeds $3 million, we will give 10% of those overflow funds to global mission. Every time you give to the First Initiative, global mission is being supported. We are anticipating God's mighty work among us, around us and through us in order that every man, woman and child might know Him.
