Where Does Mission Money Go?
The most effective way to financially support missions at FBCMI is through faithful and sacrificial giving to the General Budget and to the First Initiative.
General Budget: 5% of your giving goes directly to mission work. Inthe 2018-2019 budget year, we gave 156,000.
First Initiative: The First Initiative is a 3-year capital campaign for facility renovations, but is also designed to fund mission partnerships. Before any other money was spent from this fund, $150,000 was set aside in 2018-2019 to missions.
In the previous budget year, out church family faithfully and sacrificially gave over $300,000 to missions!
