Welcome to Children & Family!
If you're planning a visit to First Baptist Church Merritt Island (FBCMI) and have children in either preschool or elelmentary school, we want to help put you at ease. This page has useful information about the Children & Family Ministry here at FBCMI. We want to help you navigate your way onto our campus and find the appropriate class for your child.
The Children & Family Ministry is designed to help children know, love and serve Jesus with all their hearts in a safe, high energy, enriching environment for preschoolers to preteens. Our desire is to prayerfully come along side parents in their God-given responsibility to disciple their children. We are called and committed to do this through resourcing and equipping parents to be the primary spiritual influence in their children’s lives.
While children are in our care, we use an age appropriate strategy to fuel a passion in the hearts of the next generation by helping children discover a new or deeper understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus. All of this is done with the love of God as we provide an environment where the beauty of the Gospel is displayed and the Word of God is taught on their level. We do this trusting God to change hearts and lives along the way!
We further hope you and your family feel welcome when visiting us, and that you will develop deep and meaningful relationships with other families in our church community.
