Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is

Get ready for an exciting week of discovery, creativity, and fun at Illumination Station VBS! Kids entering 1st–6th grade will explore the amazing truth of who Jesus really is as they dive into Bible stories, high-energy games, creative activities, music, and hands-on challenges.

Throughout the week, kids will see how Jesus shines light into every part of life—helping us know God, trust Him, and share His love with others.

Each day focuses on a different “Spotlight” that helps kids understand another incredible truth about Jesus.

Day 1 – Spotlight: Jesus Is God’s Promised Son

Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the Messiah, the promised Son of God.

Day 2 – Spotlight: Jesus Is God’s Perfect Son

Was Jesus just an ordinary man?
Jesus is the perfect Son of God who came to be the Savior of the world.

Day 3 – Spotlight: Jesus Is the Powerful Son of God

Was Jesus just a teacher?
Everything Jesus said and did showed that He is the powerful Son of God.

Day 4 – Spotlight: Jesus Is the Proven Son of God

Was Jesus just someone who lived a long time ago?
Jesus lived, died, and rose to life again to be our Savior, now and forever.

Day 5 – Spotlight: Jesus Is God’s Plan for Forgiveness

Why do I need to respond to Jesus?
Jesus is the only way to receive God’s forgiveness.
