Connect Classes meet on Wednesdays

Book of James for Ladies & Men

Start Date: August 19 (12 weeks)
When: Wednesdays, 6:00 to 7:30 PM
Cost: $15 for a workbook and journal
Ladies: REGISTER | Men: REGISTER

Our Wednesday night Equip Class for ladies and men will explore the book of James in the Fall semester. Sometimes referred to as the Proverbs of the New Testament, this book of the Bible contains phrases that might sound familiar:

Faith without works is dead.
Be a doer of the Word and not just a hearer.
Be quick to hear and slow to speak.

Every good and perfect gift comes from above.
Even the demons believe and shudder.

James is an intensely practical book, filled with exhortations. Unlike many of the other books of the New Testament, James’ aim is not to give a theological presentation of the gospel. Rather he writes his letter to believers to help them live faithfully as followers of Christ. Participants in our Fall semester Equip Classes will engage in a time of teaching, followed by small group interactions and weekly homework. Participating in your small group will help make church smaller as you get to know one another.

*The same class is available for Ladies on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 11:30 AM - REGISTER
*The same class is available for Men every other Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:30 PM - REGISTER

Grandparenting with Grace

Led by Pastor Richard Fuller
Start Date: September 23 (7 weeks)
When: Wednesdays, 6:00 to 7:30 PM
Cost: $15 for book | REGISTER

Many people in our culture look at grandparenting primarily as an opportunity to make occasional fun memories with their grandkids. There's often little thought given to the idea of intentionally and spiritually pouring into grandchildren. In this practical and biblical resource for grandparents, Larry E. McCall helps readers confidently carry out their mission of gospel-focused grandparenting.

Grandparenting with Grace explores how to build a legacy worth following and how to faithfully pray for grandchildren. McCall urges readers to look at grandparenting from an eternal perspective, considering how to be involved in their families in God-honoring ways.
